I NEED A THERAPIST!!!!

Oh my WORD!! I have issues! Worse ones than I thought. I'm so ticked at myself that I just sat at my computer for 2.5 hours doing what should have taken 15 minutes, that I'm going to spend more time here telling you all about it. So, I have no more memory on my junk computer that I'm ready to attack with a sledge hammer. So I have a bunch of pictures on my computer that I want to get off there. The CD burner doesn't work, so I thought I'd get an USB flashdrive with lots of memory and start transfering away. So I look online a bit, go to Staples and Walmart, then come back home to my computer. There was a website that was cheaper than anything I found, so I was going to order from there (tiger direct - you might want to check them out for all your electronic needs). And I should mention that I should have just stuck to this plan because they had a nice amount to choose from in various amounts of GBs. Very manageable. But noooo... I remembered that I have a credit on my pay pal account, so if I went on ebay, I could get one for practically FREEEEEE!! Oh HOOORAY! This was the beginning of the end... what was I thinking. Try typing in flashdrives in an ebay search. There's like 9 million of them. So I narrowed it down to sellers in North America cause I didn't have peace about buying one from Hong Kong. So that narrowed it down to about 60 pages of flash drives. So I looked at the very first page and I thought - wow, there's lots of good options. I should just not even let myself look any further. So I THOUGHT I had it narrowed down to 3. But none of them grabbed me. Ya know what I mean? It's all about presentation. There's one with an attached cap which would be nice cause I perpetually loose things, but it looked ugly and manly, like a pocketknife or something. There were 2 others, both had brandnames that I recognized, so they would have been fine, but they weren't sleek and cute enough. So I made the grave error of going to page number 2. And so on and so forth. Page after page of almost the perfect one, but something just a little bit wrong, or too expensive. Like I might be way off base, but I didn't want to buy one without a brand name of some sort listed. So there were some cute sleek ones, but no brand name. And then I'd see certain sellers so many times I'd start to think that I really SHOULD by something from him. Hellllllloooo!!! As if he KNEW who I was and that I had looked at 300 of his flashdrives and would be hurt if I didn't buy one from him. And then the longer and longer it took the more and more irritated I was getting at how irrational I was and the fact that I chose what college to go to in less time than it was taking me to buy this stupid flashdrive. In the end, I did use my credit so I only paid about 9 bucks. I got one that is black with some green on it and is also waterproof because I like to sit at my computer desk and drool excessively and sometimes randomly throw water at stuff. Oh, and this brand (Adata, which I've never heard of and my brother will probably write and tell me it's the worst in the universe) had a much cuter one in black and orange and I like orange better than green, but the green one was cheaper. And now that the day is half shot, I should go do something productive

Glad you have your priorities straight sweetie. =) Some day your grandkids are going to be pining over which flash drive you bought and from which vendor. Yes! The green stripe was the way to go. =P

See you in three days. =D

Oh Rachel, it sounds like you're still that same :) I love how crazy you are . . . but so glad that you finally finished your shopping, and have a flash drive on the way. Take care! --Megan

oh I just have to say that I feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the skill of getting the best possible thing for your money (not to use the saying that would fit so well here, but that I don't like) is such a mixed blessing/curse... it's an extremely rare occasion that I regret a purchase, though, so that's saying something! I do often try to use time/money conversion to help my ocd in the cost part, though - like how much my time is worth times how much time it would take to find something cheaper minus how much cheaper it is likely to be... LOL.
