My baton rouge bosom friend Jan
Some of my treasures - read below and it will make more sense. The purple beads, lots of cross stitch, my AWANA car and trophy, and....
In case you missed it above - my real live hair! I think one braid is mine and one is my sister's but I'm not 100 % sure. I'm also not exactly sure why they exist - if we cut them off or what. Anyway, the odd thing is that each time I move, I really do throw stuff out, so how is it that this stuff has made the cut each time? I don't get it? Well, I get some of it, but not the rocks and beads.

Did you really throw out your heart shaped candle holder??!! Just kidding. I'm pretty sure mine is gone too, but it was something I held for awhile.
p.s. I'd love to know how you got the hair... :)
I'm actually kind of glad that the hair is real -- I thought maybe you were hanging onto proof of scalping your dolls. :)
Hope your move goes well!
I am so glad you have a new pal!! And I think it's hilarious that you actually obeyed her and got rid of all that stuff. : )
Sabrina - We did make those in school or something, didn't we? I have quite a few things like that - things I know that have identical cousins out there somewhere.
That last comment was from me, not Dave of course. But Sabrina, you had wanted to see a picture of the new couch? If you click on the link for Dave's blog, there's a picture on there.
all i can say is, way to go, jan! i'm so glad she's your friend, rachel! :-) that stuff was long overdue for the dumpster! and that hair is too weird!
I forgot to mention: EVERYONE knows the toilet paper comes over the top in the front of the roll.
I didn't mean for my last comment to be anonymous. This is Marybelle. Toilet paper is a very important issue.
i'm so glad you have a bosom friend :-) and one that makes you throw out purple beads. wow. but that cross stich, i'm sure sorry you got rid of that. oh you crack me up! thanks for the cookie advice. i never thought about trying all those crazy flavours. although way up north here, i've never seen orange cake mix...but then of course, i haven't looked for it either. is it seriously good? can't quite imagine...
Marybelle - So it's genetic then, eh? = )
Robyn - It is seriously wonderful! The orange with cc icing tastes like a creamsicle. I just had the lemon plain, but if you had those with cc icing, they'd be amazing. Lemon has been my top pick I think. Come visit me and I'll make you some. Oh, and I've been reading so many cards and letters from my oooold friends... haha. Oh the good times. Takes me back to yesteryear. I kept a lot of them. I just can't throw them away. Some of your cards are just too funny. I'll bring some alone to show you if we ever meet again. Maybe I should have just commented on your blog.
Rachel--were those the beads that your Grandma Miller made {strung herself} for each of her grandkids?? --No--really i think she bought them! Just curious!
aunt Ruthie
{no--I do not care that you got rid of them!}
