This was actually a race. The next one I just watched instead of taking pictures.

4th Street downtown - where the action's at. They have part of it blocked off and and have concerts and things of that nature. Oh I forgot to mention, another little mishap. When we were driving on 4th street, there were 2 lanes of traffic and my friend whipped out into what we thought was a turn lane and were driving in that lane for awhile when a friendly hotel staff person standing outside yelled rather loudly - "This is a 2 way street!!!" So we managed to get into the right lane before we were smushed by oncoming traffic. good times.

ReplyDeleteDid you like watching the races? We went in Sudbury once and I found it entertaining, but it takes so long for them to get ready that it was kind of boring as well.
ReplyDeleteyeah - we only stayed for 2 because we were eager to go sit in teh garage and watch people smoke pot in the boiling heat...
